November and December 2012 Newsletter
Dear Sisters in Thread, It is the end of 2012 already and just where has the year gone? Hopefully you got some wonderful quilts made and knitting projects blocked and ready to give! We have some great last minute gifts for you to get and to make. Holiday Hop is fast and furiously approaching and so is our annual Christmas Tea. First we want to remind you to go to www.sewtogetheronline.com to sign up for our newsletter. It is easy to do and when you submit your email you will receive a free pattern! We would also like to encourage you to “Like” us on Facebook because we post quick pictures and updates there for your information. We would like to invite you to join us in our Holiday Hop: Favorite Holiday Memories Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 & 17. You will receive a pin, discounts at each shop, free patterns and free fabric with a canned food donation at each shop. You will be in the running for other great prizes, too. We have a bus that will take you to all 7 shops on Saturday the 17th and there are still limited seats available. The bus fee is $80 and includes not only your pin, passport etc., but your lunch and driver gratuity. Passports alone are $10 and are readily available. You can see all the great projects by going to www.michiganstashdash.com. On Dec. 1st (Saturday) we would like to invite you to our annual Christmas Tea. Not only do we have wonderful tea and cookies to serve, but we will have great new ideas and demonstrations for gifts and decorating. You won’t want to miss this, so bring a friend anytime between 10 am and 3 pm. During this time we are asking you to fill out a wish list in our store and pick out your favorite Christmas Stocking (we have many to choose from!). Your family and friends can fill it for you with your selections from your wish list! Also coming soon 2013 Christmas Club, space limited! Lots new beginning in January! We are also planning a wonderful December Raffle. All of December we are adding to our Raffle Bowl of prizes. You get a chance to win it on Jan. 2, 2013 by adding your name to our Prize Drawing Jar once for every $20 you spend in the shop during December. We have two great new Blocks of the Month you should consider. The soft and beautiful Anita’s Christmas Quilt is back in a limited edition.
