September-October 2012 Newsletter
Dear Sisters in Thread, This newsletter brings major changes to our method of getting the information out to you! We are changing the way we email our newsletter to better serve you. Please, if you have not already done so, go to our website www.sewtogetheronline.com and register there to receive our newsletter. This will make it easier to keep our email list current and the information we send to you timelier! We will no longer be using the outdated system that we have used for many years, so don’t delay! There are exciting things happening here that you won’t want to miss!
Right now we are setting up for our Stitchery Trunk Show from Crabapple Hill and other great designers. We have so many samples filling the store, you will just have to come and see! This display will be up through September 15, so we hope to see you very soon!
We are so excited to be revamping our Yarn Department at the shop! All of September all our in-stock yarn will be 30% off! We have a goal to have all USA made yarns in our shop by the first of the year. So there are some great bargains to be had while we are reaching that goal!
It is also that time of year to attend our Holiday Hop. “Favorite Holiday Memories” will be Friday and Saturday November 16 & 17 from 9 am to 7 pm both days. Passports to all 7 shops are only $10 each and include a pin. You will receive free patterns from each store and with the donation of a canned good at each place you will also receive free fabric and another pattern. All canned goods go to our local food pantries and is a great way to give back to our communities. You will also have the chance to win prizes at every shop. There are busses scheduled from all shops (ours is on Saturday) and you can see details at www.michiganstashdash.com. Passports are available beginning Sept. 15.
We are having a “3-B’s” sale in September…buy your Backing, Batting and Binding for any quilt together and get 25% off the Bundle! It is a great way to save. (So does that make it a 4-B’s sale??) In October we are offering 20% off any in-stock kit. That’s a lot of quick and beautiful kits for gift-giving!
So September starts the beginning of that fall feeling and the need to cuddle into a new quilt or afghan! We have classes and clubs to spark your interest and maybe become a lifelong love. If you want to learn to quilt or knit we have low-stress classes so you can learn. Do you want to make a new bag that all your friends will drool over? Yup, we have a class for that too! Want to hone your embroidery skills or learn some new stitches? You can do it here. We have a great relaxing atmosphere to learn and even make a friend or two. Come in and see why we have a great reputation for being one of the friendliest stores around.
