We are offering a huge selection of Children's Classes this summer that include place mats, pillowcases, embroidery and knitting. Any child from the age of 8 and up is welcome. Most classes includes kits. It is a great way to bolster the self-esteem of any child. The pride they feel about creating is wonderful. We also want you to know we now have both a HandiQuilter Avante and Sit-Down Sweet Sixteen with the TruStitch stitch regulator available to test drive in our shop. If you always wanted the advantages of a long arm quilting machine without having to be on you feet, this sit-down machine may be just what you are looking for! Just call us or stay tuned to your email for an event we will be hosting to introduce you to the newest and best machines in the home long arm market! You are also invited to the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild Show, Saturday July 28 (9am-5pm) and Sunday July 29 (11 am-5 pm) held at the Morris Lawrence Building on the Washtenaw Community College Campus, 4800 E. Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor. This is a highly-regarded show with wonderful quilts and fantastic vendors, so we hope to see you there! We want you to know that all of July, all threads (including floss, pearl cottons, cones and sewing threads) will be on sale 20% off. In August all fat quarters will be buy 4, get 2 free. It is a great time to stock up on both items. There will also be a town-wide sidewalk sale from July 19-21, so be sure to check it out. We are also a Martingale Press Premier shop so please be sure to pick up your card when you come in next time. Get it stamped every time you buy a Martingale book and earn a free book! Looking ahead to September, we are excited to announce we will be having a special Trunk Show from Crabapple Hill September 1-15 in honor of our town's Good Old Days. If you love their creative stitcheries, please come in and check it out! We are planning a huge embroidery event and are very, very excited. Last but hardly least, we would like to thank all of you who participated in this year's Stash Dash, America the Beautiful! We had a wonderful time and hope you did, too. Class Policy Be sure to call 586-727-1555 to register for a class today! Our class policy is that we offer all our students a 15% discount on all regular priced merchandise with a paid class fee. You MUST REGISTER EARLY FOR CLASSES since we must notify the teacher with the number of registered students. Please don't assume we know you are coming. Classes without the minimum number of students registered will be cancelled. Make sure we have it in writing in our class registration book! If we have to cancel a class, your registration fee is fully refundable. There are no refunds if you cancel a class with less than a week's notification unless there are special circumstances. In-store credit will be given under special circumstances but Gina or Sue must personally Okay this.
