Dear Sisters in Thread,

            It looks as if winter might be losing its grip on us as we welcome in March and April.  I have even noticed my tulips trying to come up on the south side of my house...this matches my mood as I try to make new quilts, too!

            We have lots of new classes to tempt you as the weather warms. Playing with new fabrics and techniques is always a good way to welcome spring. 

            Thanks to all of you who managed to buy the 720 fat quarters during our Fat Tuesday, Fat Quarter Sale!  In celebration, we are putting all our books on sale for 20% off in March!  It is the perfect time to buy a fat quarter book to use all that fabric you bought! Then we decided to help you finish that lovely quilt you just made by putting all our pre-packaged batting on sale for 20% off in April!

            We are beginning the process of making our June 14, 15 & 16 Stash Dash quilt and getting quite excited about this year's Dash "America the Beautiful" featuring all kinds of stars and a free charm from every store!  You can get more details at www.michiganstashdash.com or just call us for details.  We will be sponsoring a bus from our shop and passports are available beginning April 1.

            We are also excited to be a part of the Oakland County Quilt Guild's Quilt Show at the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion on April 13 & 14.

            Our classes include a foundation lone star quilt, a quilt-as-you-go tablecloth and a jelly roll quilt. We are offering a class on how to machine quilt on your own machine in two sessions, and a beautiful quilters wallet.  There are club meetings for HandiQuilter, Crazy Quilting, Doll Making, UFO's, Knitting and Christmas. There is something for everyone, so come check out our schedule for the next two months!

Class Policy

Be sure to call 586-727-1555 to register for a class today!  Our class policy is that we offer all our students a 15% discount on all regular priced merchandise with a paid class fee.  You MUST REGISTER EARLY FOR CLASSES since we must notify the teacher with the number of registered students.  Please don't assume we know you are coming.  Classes without the minimum number of students registered will be cancelled.  Make sure we have it in writing in our class registration book!  If we have to cancel a class, your registration fee is fully refundable.  There are no refunds if you cancel a class with less than a week's notification unless there are special circumstances.  In-store credit will be given under special circumstances but Gina or Sue must personally Okay this.
