Welcome to Our Revitalized Shop!

Dear Sisters in Thread,

This is a cautionary tale of two friends who thought they were ready to retire only to realize that “We don’t want to!!!” So thank you for sticking with us as we re-imagined Sew Together, made some wonderful changes and got back in the saddle again! The biggest physical change is the creation of our Main Street Makers Boutique that is full of wonderful quilts, table runners, baskets and other handmade items for sale and perfect for gift giving. We also have beautiful new fabrics and more coming in on a weekly basis. We still have thread, pearl cotton, batting, floss and other notions too. So please come check out the changes and still feel right at home.

We are celebrating our metamorphosis at our Christmas Tea this November 22 and 23 (Friday and Saturday). Come in and make any purchase those two days and you will be eligible for our grand prize drawings of a Oliso Iron, a Rotating Olfa Mat and a Creative Grids Ruler (3 separate prizes!) We will have demonstrations, sales, freebies and food and fun. We are open 10-5 on Friday and 10-3 on Saturday and hope to see your smiling face.

We are starting up some new classes and continuing some clubs and free demos. Gina is having a Clothesline class where you can make a cool Christmas gift and Sue is teaching her Star Table Runner Class too. Free Demo Thursdays will be back on November 14 at 2 pm.

We are also participating in the Deer Widow’s Night Out in our town on Saturday, November 16 and will be open until 5:30 pm that day. Info for the Dinner and Show at Maniaci’s Banquet Hall can be found at our shop and we are contributing a raffle prize for the drawing!

There is one thing you should note: on Saturday November 9 we will be opening at 12 noon instead of 10 am. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Friday Nov. 9 10-4 Christmas Workshop. Come in and work on your Christmas projects. Bring your lunch and have lots of fun. $10

Saturday Nov. 10 OPENING AT NOON

Wed. Nov. 13 11 am Wool Club

Thurs. Nov. 14 2 pm Free Demo Thursday, Project to be announced

Friday Nov. 15 5-9 pm Fun Friday, bring your projects and a dish to pass. $5

Saturday Nov. 16 Participating in Deer Widows Night Out. Shop open until 5:30

Class Policy: We ask that you call ahead to reserve your space in a class.

We do not hand out supply lists until classes are paid. Refunds are available in emergency circumstances or if we have to cancel the class for lack of interest.
