Sew, May We Help You Create?!
Dear Sisters in Thread, There are lots of reasons to sew, quilt, knit – create! It is one of the best feelings in the world to make something with your own hands and to offer it as a gift of love to someone else! That is why we do what we do. That very act of creating and giving, makes us hope and believe in better things, even in times of trouble and strife. In May we celebrate Mother’s Day and all those who nurture us. We would like to remind you a gift certificate from our shop is a great way to express your appreciation! And speaking of appreciation, well May is also Military Appreciation Month and we would like to offer any military personnel a 15% discount (instead of our usual 10%) for the entire month. We appreciate what you do for us and want to let you know. We have also decided to continue with our 50% off Yarn Sale this month! There are some wonderful fibers to choose from! We have some wonderful classes to entice you this month. Jeanette is holding HandiQuilter Club from 10-noon on May 4, Deanna is having her Creative Stitches Classes on May 12 & 26 and Gina is continuing a paper piecing class for the pattern My Kinda Town. Sue is also offering a class on Binding that includes how to do piping and prairie points. There is also a Hexagon Magic Table Runners class this month, too! Our clubs are having fun and Gina has added a Kim Diehl Simple What Nots Club session on Saturdays at 3 pm on May 13. Of course, the Jo’s Little Women club and the What Nots are meeting at their regular times too, as are the knitters. Our popular Free Demo Thursdays continue with very little exception, so check out your weekly emails regarding this fun time.
