Quilting Keeps You Happy! Dear Sisters in Thread, Yes, it is totally true! Quilting (or anything that keeps your hands busy and creative!) makes you happy! When there is so much that is out of our control, it calms our spirits and satisfies our souls to create. You don’t have to be perfect to reap the benefits of quilting, embroidering or knitting. Just the feel of the fibers in your hand and the rhythm of your stitches release those wonderful endorphins in your brain and really make you feel better! And if you do it with friends the benefits just are that much more! So please come in and let us be your friend, introduce you to new friends and make you happy! We are offering a daytime beginning quilting class for 6 weeks beginning Tuesday March 21 from 1-3 pm. You will learn to pick fabrics, make patterns, rotary cut and sew designs into blocks. We are also scheduling a 3-hour class on just machine quilting (on your own domestic sewing machine) on March 31 that will help you hone your skills and finish those UFOs! There are a couple of sales this month that would be of interest. This first week of March we have fat quarters on sale buy one and get one free. This sale ends Saturday, March 4. All month long, we are putting ALL our in-stock yarns on a tremendous sale of 50% off the marked price! For those of you are thinking of going into a long arm machine, Handi Quilter has a great promotion starting March 8 through March 20 for National Quilting Day. They have some great package deals on machines and also are offering free shipping and special o% financing to qualified buyers. Give us a call and we can have you take a test drive! Deanna will also be here for some great creative stitching classes on Thursday this month, so be sure to check out your schedule. There are also meetings for Knitters, Kim Diehl Club and Jo’s Little Women Club. We hope to see you and make you smile soon!

Class Policy: We ask that you call ahead to reserve your space in a class.Classes without the minimum number of students will be cancelled and your fee refunded. We offer all paid students a 15% discount on regular priced merchandise. Your registration fee is fully refundable if you cancel 1 week prior to class and store credit will be given under special circumstances but must be personally Okayed by Gina or Sue if you can’t attend due to an unforeseen emergency.
