A Shower of New Ideas Spring Forth!
Dear Sisters in Thread,
It is April Fool’s day, but all fooling aside, we have some wonderful new things brewing this April! We have demos on new tools, cool new projects that are quick and easy and great for gift-giving and new embellishments that will get your creative juices flowing! Our Victorian Crazy Quilting teacher Deanna VanAssche is working on some new exciting projects for you too!
On April 16 Gina and I will be vending the Michigan Stitchers Event at the Capac Museum at 401 E. Kempf Ct. in Capac. The event features a speaker in the morning discussing 3-D Embroidery. It is $22 to attend and includes door prizes and a catered lunch. If you are interested in going call Sharon at 810-395-2434 or 586-668-2175 to register by April 8.
The Macomb County Quilters are hosting a quilt show “Quilts From the Attic” on Friday April 22 (10-6 pm) and Saturday April 23 (10-5 pm) at the Roseville Recreation Center at 18185 Sycamore St. in Roseville. Admission is $6. There will be vendors (including us!), door prizes and raffles. We hope you plan to attend.
Gina is also having another Soup and Sew Day where you can spend the day working on any project you choose and have great company and a delicious lunch too for only $10 for the day.
