Dear Sisters in Thread,

I guess we can't hold our breath until Spring arrives, but really?  The little warm up in February was just a cruel tease for those of us who are longing for warmer weather!  Our only consolation is this is perfect weather to quilt and knit!

Gina is repeating some of her home decor classes this newsletter and Jeanette is back with her class Lois' Tote that makes a fantastic overnight bag.  I am featuring a how to machine quilt class in two evening sessions that will give you the confidence to quilt your own tops on your own domestic sewing machine.  Rita has a wonderful new quilt and class called "Retrospection" that will become one of your favorites. Crazy quilting – by hand and by machine – will be on tap. Paula will show you how to make a rabbit table runner and Mary will teach you to make a cute piecework jacket from a sweatshirt (children or adult sizes). Knit club also continues for all of you who want to work on your own projects with a little advice available if needed!

There are two wonderful quilt shows happening in April.  The Quilt Guild of Metro Detroit will have their show April 8 & 9.  The Peaches and Patches Quilt Guild of Romeo will have their show on April 29 and 30.  Both shows are standouts and lots of fun to visit.  More info will be available in our shop as the dates grow closer.

Plans are already in high gear for our next June's Stash Dash.  We are adding two new shops to the group and have a bus already booked on Thursday June 16 for your dashing pleasure.  Please call us for details!  The dates of the dash are June 16, 17 & 18.

We will be having a little Easter Sale the week of April 19-23.  We will have Easter Eggs with candy to give to all our customers and also inside each egg will be a discount coupon for your purchase that day. Chocolate and savings...how much better can it get?  You can get a new egg each time you visit us this week, so we hope to see you often!

And last but not least, Handi Quilter Club is meeting again in March.  Wednesday, March 2 from 7pm to 8 pm Jeanette will share her knowledge.  How to make foam stencils is scheduled.  Handi Quilter Club is free to those of you who bought your machine from us, and only $5 for those of you who didn't.

So here is a look at our class schedule for March and April:
