Sew Together Swings into Summer

Dear Sisters in Thread,

June is revving up with the beginning of the 2015 Row By Row Experience. Every state in the union is participating this year! Starting June 21 through Sept. 8 you can stop into any participating shop and get your FREE pattern for their row! At our shop, we will give you a choice of rows: one for piecing or one for applique. We will have kits available for both!

We also have our license plates available this year! Please come in and check out our rows! The first person who brings in a completed quilt (sewn, quilted, bound and labeled) with at least 8 rows from 8 different shops, will win a prize of 25 fat quarters! If you use one of our rows in your quilt, you will get a bonus prize, too!

Gina and I were at Quilt Market in May and brought back many wonderful new ideas, patterns, notions and fabrics! Come see them all displayed at our Market Party and Pizza Party on Thursday, June 18 from 5:30 to 8 pm! We have some great things to share with you! Come for dinner and stay for the lovely samples, demonstrations and more!

We are also having a Free Demonstration Day each week this summer! We will pick a demo each week and let you know what we are showing and the time! Watch your inbox for this!

It is very exciting to announce a new kind of quilt class! Sue Goeddeke is going to sponsor an Art Quilt in the Round day on Saturday June 27, from 10-4 pm ($20, limit 6). Start the day making a block and see what happens as you pass it alone. Sue will encourage you to try new techniques and fibers to create a one-of-a-kind art quilt for yourself! Register early for this!

And for those of you who were waiting, I finally have the curved log cabin class scheduled this month! It is Saturday, June 6 from 11-3 and is free if you bought your pattern and ruler from me! You will see how easy it is to create complicated quilts using the simple log cabin block! This is lots of fun so I hope you can attend! There is a limit of 6 students, so please pre-register.

For those of you who have been asking, our Doll Club is meeting at the shop on Saturday June 20. Come and see what all the excitement is about!
