Sew Together Celebrates 21 Years!

Dear Sisters in Thread,

It’s hard to believe 21 years ago Sew Together was the new shop on the scene and Gina and I were so excited to start this new adventure. Well, 21 years later, we are still on the adventure but no one can call us the new kids anymore! We’ve learned a lot, made a lot of quilts and most importantly, a lot of friends! We hope that you will continue to grace us with your warm wishes and presence in our lives! Thank you for being on this wonderful journey with us!

We have a sale (of course!) the last two weeks of May, the 19th through the 30th, that offers at least 21% off all regular priced fabric, books and notions, with up to 75% off on selected items! We are also having a door prize drawing each of those days, so come in multiple times for more chances to win. And stay tuned for June, because Gina and I are planning a great party to show you all the things we will be getting at Quilt Market!

We also have a wonderful new summer club that begins May 9 from 9-11 am (the second Saturday of each month) for 6 months: Toes in the Sand Quilt. The club is free with purchase of the book, ruler and fabric. You will do 4 blocks each month. It is a fun technique that everyone can do! We hope you will want to be a part of the fun and excitement.

On May 7, from 6-8 pm, we will have a free meeting of our new Applique/Stitchery Club to determine projects and time frame. Anyone interested in cotton and wool applique and/or stitchery is welcome. Regular meeting will begin in June.

We are also knee-deep in plans for this year’s Row by Row Experience beginning June 21! We have a great pieced row planned, with thoughts of having an applique pattern row available too! The theme this year is H2O and is sparking all kinds of creativity. With every state in the Union participating, it is going to be a great summer for quilting! Remember, all the patterns are FREE and there is a great prize if you are the first with a finished quilt (of 8 or more rows) at any shop. And this year we have license plates to purchase too!

So we have lots of classes and clubs to tempt you this month! We hope to see you come through the door with a smile on your face, and an even bigger smile when you leave! Here is a look at our May schedule:
