Dear Sisters in Thread,

With Christmas upon us quickly, Gina and I want to first thank you for the many blessings that your friendships have brought us. Please know we cherish each one of you and wish you a very blessed Christmas!

First we hope you can make an appearance on Small Business Saturday, this Nov. 29. We are a participating shop and if you spend $10 or more with your American Express Card here, American Express will credit you $10! And to sweeten the pot, Gina will be doing some demos at noon, 1:30 and 3 pm that day. Please also note we will not only be closed on Thanksgiving, but on Black Friday, too. Enjoy your frenzy, but come see us when we open on Saturday!

We are having our annual Christmas Tea on Sunday Dec. 7 from 2-4 pm. We will have some small demos and quick gift ideas and an offer that was very popular last year: For every $50 gift certificate purchased, we will give you $10 more! It’s a great way to make your money work for you and give a quilter (or yourself) a personal sale whenever you choose to use it. So please come enjoy some cookies and tea – in real teacups!- on Dec. 7!

To give back to our community, all of December we are offering you 15% off your regular priced purchases (no special orders, consignment, sale or HandiQuilter items) when you bring an item such as cereal, box foods or canned quality foods for our local Food Pantry. The sale is limited to one discount per visit, but you can come several days during the month to receive multiple discounts. This will run every day we are open in the month of December.

Our store schedule for December is: Closed Wednesday and Thursday Dec. 24 & 25, open Friday Dec. 26 and Saturday Dec. 27. Closed for New Years on Wednesday Dec. 31 and Thursday Jan. 1, 2015. We will begin our regular hours on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015!

We are authorized Handi Quilter dealers and can offer you a great quilting experience with these American-made, high-quality quilting machines! Please call us for a test drive on the HQ18 Avante or the HQ16 Sit Down models in our store! We offer sales and authorized repairs on Handi Quilters – even if you didn’t buy your machine from us.

Class Policy: We offer all students of paid classes a 15% discount on all regular priced merchandise. You must register for classes early since we must notify the teacher with the number of registered students. Please don’t assume we know you are coming. Classes without the minimum number of students will be cancelled. If we have to cancel a class your registration is fully refundable. There is no refund if you cancel a class with less than a week’s notice unless there are special circumstances. In-store credit will be given under special circumstances, but Gina or Sue must personally Okay this. Call us at (586)727-1555.
